Job Summary

Ogletree Deakins is seeking an experienced Labor Relations Attorney to join our team in California. As a key member of our labor law practice, you will provide expert advice and representation to clients on traditional labor matters, including union organizing campaigns, grievance arbitrations, and unfair labor practice charges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic guidance on traditional labor issues, including union organizing campaigns, grievance arbitrations, and unfair labor practice charges.
  • Represent clients in National Labor Relations Board trials and other labor-related proceedings.
  • Assist with policy drafting and implementation to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and implement effective labor relations strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in labor laws and regulations, and provide guidance to clients on compliance and best practices.
Requirements
  • Juris Doctor degree and active membership in the California State Bar.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in traditional labor law, with a strong background in labor relations and employment law.
  • Excellent analytical and writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts to clients and colleagues.
  • Strong public speaking skills, with the ability to present to clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Outstanding academic credentials, with a strong academic record and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
