Financial Management
Achieve financial targets by managing the monthly and year-end closing processes for sales audits. This includes analyzing variances, approving account reconciliations, and proposing corrective actions to relevant business partners.

Accounting Controls
Ensure robust accounting controls by developing and recommending policies and procedures. Identify opportunities for improvement in financial processes and lead their implementation.

Project Management
Oversee the financial aspects of various projects related to sales audits, including managing system testing for new marketplace transactions and ensuring accurate financial integration with third-party financial institutions.

Customer Service Excellence
Serve as the primary contact for sales audit and processing procedures, providing exceptional customer service in addressing queries and collaborating with Finance Leadership and other departments.

Regulatory Compliance
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of industry regulations concerning retail accounting and sales audits, including escheatment processes and PCI compliance.

Internal Controls
Identify, assess, and develop internal controls and operational policies, ensuring compliance with the company's internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.

Professional Development
Enhance professional and technical knowledge by participating in educational workshops, reviewing industry publications, and engaging in professional networks.

Leadership Responsibilities
Lead the team by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees, fostering a safe and secure work environment, and ensuring opportunities for personal growth.

Qualifications
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a preference for 2+ years in a leadership role.
• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and Cognos is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
