Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Respiratory Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide professional respiratory therapy services to children, teens, and young adults in our inpatient services.

About the Role:
  • You will work within the scope of respiratory therapy practice, physician's orders, and the child's care plan to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records as defined by respiratory therapy standards and ChildServe policies.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Stay current with unit and ChildServe-specific information to provide exceptional patient care.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must have certification from an accredited respiratory therapy program and current licensure to practice in the state of Iowa. Additionally, you should possess current CPR/BLS certification, ventilator experience, and pediatric experience is preferred. PALS certification is encouraged, and experience with tracheostomy care and changes is desirable.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
