Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations, including echocardiograms, vascular studies, and obstetric ultrasounds
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of sonography best practices and procedures
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in sonography technology and techniques
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • ARDMS certification within 18 months of hire
  • 2+ years of experience in diagnostic medical sonography, preferably in an acute care setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
