Position Overview

The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychiatrist to join our Inpatient Psychiatry Service at Central Vermont Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will provide direct patient care and team leadership on the inpatient unit, with coverage of the emergency department and consultation on the medical-surgical service.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care and leadership on the inpatient unit
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care
  • Participate in the education and training of medical students and residents
  • Contribute to clinical research and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Medical degree and eligibility for a Vermont medical license
  • Board certification/eligibility in psychiatry
  • Fellowship training and experience in inpatient settings a plus
