Job Overview
School-based Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) provide prevention, assessment, and remediation services for students who exhibit difficulties in language, speech, voice, and fluency to assist students in meeting their educational goals. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with school personnel, families, and other professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality services that meet the diverse needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess students' communication skills to identify communication disorders and delays, determine eligibility, perform the functions of the job satisfactorily within mandated Special Education timelines, and develop recommendations for treatment and programming
- Develops recommendations, interventions, plans (e.g., IEPs, 504 Plans, etc.), and educational materials using evidence-based methods and techniques to assist students with their communication skills and minimize the adverse impact of their disabilities on academic and social development
- Schedules interventions using various service delivery models, including classroom intervention, consultation/collaboration, and meeting students' educational needs in the least restrictive environment

Requirements
- NH License as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Advanced degree as required by licensure (Masters or higher) and clinical experience
- Job-related experience within the field of communication disorders is preferred
- NPI # must be obtained
- Certificate of Clinical Competence
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Ability to adapt to changing work priorities
- Understanding of detailed information and data
- Collaborating and working as part of a team
- Maintaining confidentiality
- Analyzing and working with detailed information/data
- Maintaining effective working relationships
