Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled SCADA Communications Technician to join our team at the Mobile County Personnel Board. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) communication systems in water and wastewater utility facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot SCADA systems
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on SCADA equipment
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless system operation
  • Develop and implement procedures for SCADA system maintenance and upgrades
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electronics, information technology, or computer networking
  • Minimum of one year experience maintaining SCADA systems
  • Ability to obtain State of Alabama Grade I Water Certification and State of Alabama Grade I(C) Wastewater Certification within 12 months
