Capital One is seeking a seasoned professional to join our Capital Markets team as a Managing Director, Interest Rate Derivatives. This key role will be responsible for structuring and executing a broad range of Interest Rate Derivative Risk Management strategies for our corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver product and structuring expertise to meet customer hedging requirements, offering tailored solutions and strategies to meet specific client needs.
  • Develop strong partnerships with the IRD trading desk to ensure seamless execution at competitive pricing.
  • Maintain direct contact with a personal portfolio of customers, structuring and implementing risk management strategies to meet their needs.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with senior management and LOB heads to leverage cross-sell opportunities.
  • Regularly participate in calls with Relationship Managers to analyze client funding and risk management opportunities.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to ensure the business operates in compliance with second-line governance, internal audit requirements, and regulatory exams.
  • Manage a portfolio of risk management products that meet the needs of our corporate customers.
  • Lead efforts to expand product capabilities when necessary.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or military experience.
  • At least 12 years of experience marketing Interest Rate Derivatives.
  • Preferred qualifications: Masters degree in business, finance, economics, or accounting; 13 or more years of experience marketing Interest Rate Derivatives to corporate clients; CPA, CFA, or MBA; strong knowledge of Swap Dealer rules and regulations.
