Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Cleaning
    • Wash and inspect all dishware, glassware, and utensils to ensure they are clean and sanitized.
    • Store clean items in their designated areas to maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
    • Keep the dishwashing machine and dish room in good working condition.
  • Organizational and Maintenance Tasks
    • Prioritize and manage multiple loads of dishes to ensure timely completion.
    • Report any equipment malfunctions or breakdowns to the Food Service Manager.
    • Sweep and mop the kitchen area, waitstaff station, and stove area to maintain a clean environment.
    • Deliver ice to the dining room as needed.
    • Assist waitstaff with serving and bringing in dishes to the kitchen as needed.
    • Perform assigned cleaning tasks according to established policies and procedures.
    • Keep work areas clean and uncluttered.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with coworkers to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
    • Work flexible shifts to meet the needs of the kitchen.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High School diploma or equivalent.
    • Ability to read schedules, menus, and position-related instructions.
