Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled Master Baker to join our team at The LineUp at Wai Kai in Ewa Beach. As a Master Baker, you will be responsible for preparing baked goods for sale to customers. This includes creating recipes, ordering ingredients, and coordinating baking schedules to produce breads, cakes, pastries, cookies, and other goods.

Responsibilities include:

  • Producing listed menu items with high-quality standards.
  • Maintaining 100% quality food production at all times.
  • Decorating baked products using glaze, icing, and other toppings to achieve a finished product.
  • Conducting research to develop original recipes for products.
  • Ensuring the proper storage for baking utensils.
  • Rotating, labeling, and dating baked items efficiently.
  • Breaking down and putting away all items on workstation.
  • Maintaining a clean workstation.
  • Utilizing all food in an efficient manner and eliminating waste.
  • FOLLOWING SANITATION SET-UP procedures to determine what is needed and in what order.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working area, including refrigeration.
  • Assisting in controlling food costs.
  • Adhering to all safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Maintaining and projecting a positive attitude.
  • Communicating effectively with staff and management.
  • Reading contracts/Event Orders and distinguishing menu items and timing.
  • Maintaining, organizing, and rotating inventory.
  • Working cleanly and neatly, setting good examples for other cooks/bakers.
  • Performing all other duties as assigned.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on location and experience.
