Black Bear Diner is a restaurant chain in the western United States that serves homestyle and "old-fashioned" comfort foods. Our restaurants have a rustic motif with "over-the-top bear paraphernalia". We offer family meals such as breakfast, burgers, salads, and shakes. Our baked goods are prepared on site, and some locations offer alcohol sales.

About the Line Cook Position

At Black Bear Diner, everyone's job is to make sure that every guest has a great experience. The purpose of the Line Cook position is to provide great food to guests so that every guest is satisfied and wants to return. To accomplish this, prepare, cook and plate all menu items according to Black Bear Diner specifications. Set up and maintain stock levels on cooks line. Operate, clean, set up and maintain equipment. Complete all sidework.

Duties/Responsibilities of the Job
  • Consistently prepare, cook, plate and finish all food items according to Black Bear Diner procedures and standards.

Requirements of the Job
