Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our innovative therapy department at Marty's Orchid House. This role is essential in providing specialized services to young children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related health challenges.

QualificationsSLP Requirements:
  • Master's degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology
  • Active and valid Kentucky Speech Language Pathologist license in good standing, compliant with Kentucky Administrative Regulations, 201 KAR Chapter 17; current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Experience with pediatric populations is preferred; Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
  • Availability for full-time work hours

Physical Requirements

The Speech Language Pathologist will need to stand for extended periods, utilize hands for various tasks, walk long distances, and engage in physical activities without fatigue. This role may involve implementing interventions at the child's play level, which could include crawling, kneeling, and reaching.

Lifting and Carrying:

The candidate must be capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds independently to assist children as necessary.
