We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Sales Representative to join our team in acquiring new customers and providing exceptional customer experience. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for connecting people and communities by offering best-in-class telecommunication services through door-to-door solicitation of new prospective customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Acquisition: Acquire new residential customers through door-to-door contact from assigned leads, utilizing consultative sales techniques to identify customer needs and provide solutions.
  • Needs Analysis: Conduct proactive consultative needs analysis with new prospective customers to understand their requirements and develop tailored sales presentations that meet their needs.
  • Sales Presentations: Develop and present sales presentations/proposals on products and services that meet customers' needs, ensuring accurate completion of all necessary paperwork.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete all administrative tasks related to products sold, adhering to department practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Stay informed about competitors' activities in assigned territories, reporting any changes in competitive pricing programs, marketing directives, or door-to-door sales tactics.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Communication: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, with engaging interpersonal skills and the ability to articulate pitches to sell products and services.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and develop creative solutions to customer needs.
  • Travel: Ability to travel regularly, including during inclement weather, to and from assigned territories and company facilities.
  • Computer Skills: Familiarity with computer operating systems, software applications, and consumer and commercial communication devices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Sales Experience: Success in a previous sales position, prospecting, or cold calling, with direct sales experience preferred but not required.
  • Telecommunications Knowledge: Knowledge of cable or telecommunications services, with an emphasis on data networking fundamentals and the ability to educate consumers on related products and services.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and performance.
