Job Summary

The Radiologic Technologist Lead will work closely with the Radiology Manager to ensure the efficient and cost-effective operation of the department. This role involves supervising the quality of care delivered to patients, participating in departmental QC and performance improvement activities, and following physician's orders precisely.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Radiology Manager in organizing and coordinating daily services
  • Set priorities and use time effectively to meet goals and objectives
  • Implement departmental policies and procedures to guide and support service delivery
  • Demonstrate financial accountability and provide input on cost savings and productivity enhancements
  • Communicate regularly with staff on progress toward defined goals and required results
  • Foster teamwork and engage employees in decision-making processes when appropriate
  • Assist with employee evaluations within the required timeframe
  • Monitor QA compliance objectives and ensure targets are achieved

Requirements:

  • Amer Registry Radiologic Tech (Required)
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
  • Associate of Arts or Science (Required) with education specialization in Radiologic Technology
