**Job Description**

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging examinations using ingenuity, initiative, and independent judgment to produce accurate images for interpretation by radiologists.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Obtain patient history, explain procedures, and gain consent for contrast material administration prior to beginning the procedure.
  • Perform all necessary checks for accuracy of prescriptions, precertification/authorization, and patient identification.
  • Operate imaging equipment following established protocols, ensuring proper positioning and exposure settings for each examination.
  • Compile and review images, provide comparison studies, and prepare documentation for interpretation.
  • Clean, adjust, and perform routine maintenance on equipment; stock and replenish supplies as required.
  • Stay proficient in departmental and hospital information technologies such as RIS, PACS, and EPIC.

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you must have a satisfactory completion of an accredited radiologic technology program resulting in a two-year certificate and/or associate degree or four-year baccalaureate degree. Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic technologists (ARRT) is also required. New graduates must obtain licensure within six months of hire.
