POSITION OVERVIEW
The Logistics Operations Leader will oversee Supply Chain Management functions at our facilities, ensuring optimal performance and profitability. Key responsibilities include materials planning, scheduling, inventory oversight, cash flow management, and coordination of information and assets.
Scope of Responsibilities
This role includes direct supervision of team members and collaboration with suppliers, production planners, procurement, IT, and other relevant stakeholders to effectively manage the flow of materials and information from clients through to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and manage all procurement and materials management processes, including order placement, supplier evaluation, price negotiations, and adherence to procurement regulations.
- Ensure 100% on-time delivery to customers by monitoring shipping and receiving performance, addressing discrepancies, and enhancing processes.
- Utilize advanced tracking systems such as phconnect, PFEP (Plan for Every Part), S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning), eCapacity, and EProcurement.
- Assist in defining and implementing automated systems to enhance material flow from procurement to delivery, supporting a comprehensive supply chain strategy.
- Ensure compliance of all material management policies with corporate inventory control objectives.
- Support internal and external audits related to planning, procurement, and inventory control functions.
- Prepare and manage departmental budgets in alignment with established guidelines.
- Facilitate professional development opportunities for all team members involved in materials management.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in purchasing and materials management within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Extensive managerial experience with modern materials management systems, including supply chain management.
- A four-year degree in business, engineering, or materials management.
WORK AUTHORIZATION: This position requires compliance with Export Control regulations; therefore, candidates must meet the definition of a US Person as per 22 C.F.R.
