Key Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care on a designated unit, utilizing the nursing process and integrated into the multidisciplinary treatment team plan of care.
- Prescribe, coordinate, and delegate nursing care, ensuring the highest level of quality care for patients.
- Assume Charge Nurse Responsibilities as required, promoting and enhancing professional nursing practice on the unit.
- Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing, with a BSN preferred.
- One (1) year prior psychiatric experience in mental health nursing, preferred.
- Licensure and registration by the Mississippi Board of Nursing as a registered nurse, or multi-state license as approved by NCSBN.
