Salary: $19.25 per hour plus potential depending on experience
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced manufacturing specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for building and assembling multiple components, including truck bodies.
Your duties will include:
- Reading and interpreting orders, specifications, blueprints, instructions, and labels, which may contain hazardous warnings and cautions
- Cutting wood or metals to specific sizes using various saws, sheers, and cutters
- Fastening parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or fasteners
- Operating pneumatic tools and hand tools
- Performing setup and preventative maintenance as required
- Examining finished projects for quality and defects
- Conducting safety and quality checks
- Working and adhering to all safety policies
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- At least 3 years of previous experience in manufacturing
- Be 18 years old
- Basic math, tape measurement, and computer skills
- Working knowledge of hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
