Job Description

V2X is seeking a highly skilled Generator Technician Lead to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and operations of generators ranging from 5kW to 2500kW.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to the NGA Washington Generator plant 24/7.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of generators and related equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.
Requirements:
  • Motor and Turbine (MTU) certified training in the following areas:
  • Design and function of Advanced Diesel Engineer Controller (ADEC)
  • Service and Application Module (SAM)
  • DiaSys and service tools
  • Replacement of components
  • Successful completion of MTU certified GEN I and GEN II courses
  • Five years of demonstrated experience with installation, commissioning, maintenance, and operations of generators ranging from 5kW to 2500kW
Additional Requirements:
  • A current Top Secret security clearance
