Position Summary

ANTS Sports is seeking passionate and committed part-time Yoga Instructors for youth programs.

Become a part of ANTS (America's Next Talented Stars) and contribute positively by guiding yoga sessions for children aged 5-10. No previous coaching experience is required as we offer thorough training.

As a Yoga Instructor for youth, you will either lead or assist in after-school yoga classes at various locations. Each class series lasts between 10 to 14 weeks, with a flexible commitment of 1-10 hours per week depending on your teaching schedule. ANTS provides training, necessary equipment, and continuous support for all instructors.

Instructor Duties

  • Conduct engaging and safe yoga sessions for young participants
  • Teach fundamental yoga techniques through imaginative and interactive lesson plans
  • Ensure program consistency by attending all classes and maintaining effective communication with all involved parties
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment before and after each session
  • Transport required materials to and from class

Qualifications

  • Transportation: Instructors must have reliable means of transport to various coaching sites
  • Professionalism: Exhibit punctuality and professionalism in all communications
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills are essential for engaging with parents and staff
  • Enthusiasm: Embrace ANTS' values of sportsmanship, wellness, and positivity
  • Patience: Support children's growth at their individual pace
  • Experience: Previous experience in sports or coaching is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Background Check: Must successfully complete background checks as required
