Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare materials for chemical experimentation, ensuring all components for cell production align with research directives.
- Assemble battery parts and conduct tests on batteries for use in chemical experiments.
- Utilize specialized laboratory equipment such as gloveboxes, dry rooms, and fume hoods.
- Monitor and troubleshoot existing equipment and processes in battery production, adhering to product specifications.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain accurate documentation of work performed.
- Promptly report any issues or unexpected observations.
- Consistently meet project timelines and deadlines.
- Complete production documentation and facilitate the transfer of materials to subsequent processing stages.
- Uphold a professional demeanor in the workplace, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all.
- Calibrate, clean, and maintain equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Fundamental understanding of scientific laboratory procedures, techniques, and equipment used in a chemistry lab.

Education & Experience:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in a scientific or engineering discipline such as mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, electrical engineering, chemistry, or chemical engineering.
- Preferred experience in semiconductors, medical devices, metallurgy, plastics, or lithium-ion battery manufacturing.
- Some familiarity with working with chemicals in laboratory or manufacturing settings is advantageous.
- Experience with Roll-2-Roll manufacturing is a plus.
- Exposure to clean rooms and/or dry rooms is beneficial.
- Pilot line manufacturing experience is an asset.
