Job Summary:

As a Clinical Neuropsychologist at Montefiore Medical Center, you will provide comprehensive psychological and clinical neuropsychological assessments and treatments to individuals with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and other neurological or medical disorders. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological assessments to identify cognitive, emotional, and behavioral strengths and weaknesses.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the patient's specific needs and goals.
  • Provide psychotherapy and counseling services to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in clinical neuropsychology and rehabilitation psychology.
Requirements:
  • PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited doctoral program.
  • Post-graduate training in clinical neuropsychology and/or rehabilitation psychology.
  • License to practice psychology in the State of New York.
  • Board certification or eligibility with the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) is desirable.
