About the Role

As a Business Analyst at Resource Data Inc, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements to ensure seamless software solutions. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Elicit and maintain business requirements through customer interactions and documentation
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements for custom software solutions
  • Collaborate with project teams to document standards and project deliverables
  • Collect and document technical and business processes using industry-standard methods
  • Develop test and validation plans to ensure solutions meet business requirements
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in Agile software engineering teams, writing business cases, gathering requirements, and developing user stories
  • 3+ years of experience with technical writing for IT and business professionals
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with client teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field
  • Experience working with state government and natural resources industries
  • BA or PM experience on projects to modernize or migrate electronic licensing systems
