Job Opportunity

Morrison Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nutrition Manager to join our team at McLaren/ Port Huron, Port Huron, MI.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement clinical nutrition care plans based on medical direction and patient/resident needs
  • Conduct nutritional assessments and document findings in medical records
  • Lead and direct a team of nutrition professionals, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities
  • Collaborate with patient/resident services staff and interns to provide exceptional care
  • Drive innovation and implement effective strategies to achieve optimal clinical nutrition and financial outcomes
  • Monitor staff competency, productivity, and documentation accuracy
  • Participate in staffing analysis and ensure adequate staffing levels
  • Comply with regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agencies
  • Contribute to patient/resident satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility-wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement initiatives
Requirements:
  • Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
  • Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board, in states where required
  • Two (2) years of experience in acute care, Three (3) years in senior living, as a Registered Dietitian
  • Specialty certification when applicable
  • Proficient in Microsoft office applications, electronic medical record & diet office systems, and nutrient analysis programming
