Endoscopy Nurse

United Digestive is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Endoscopy team. As an Endoscopy Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and support in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities- Provide individualized and specialized nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and recognized nursing techniques.
- Plan, execute, and evaluate nursing care given to patients, ensuring a high level of patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the RN Endoscopy Manager to ensure seamless patient care and efficient department operations.
- Maintain current knowledge of endoscopy procedures and best practices to provide exceptional patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
- Current State license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Experience in GI endoscopy preferred.
- Membership in GI specialty or other local, state, or national professional societies encouraged.
- Maintains Basic Cardiac Life Support certification. ACLS certification is recommended, but optional.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Moderate periods of sitting and computer use are required, as well as the ability to stand and walk for extensive periods of time. Lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 25 pounds is also necessary.
