Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Windows Systems Administrator to join our team at MAXIMUS. As a Senior Windows Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of windows-based servers and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Server Infrastructure Management: Administer and maintain Windows-based server infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and patch management.
  • Monitoring and Alerting: Monitor and alert on the health and status of all infrastructure hardware and software components.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies to ensure performance and reliability.
  • Incident Response: Provide incident response support to include break/fix, restoration of service, and provisioning of services.
  • Windows Systems Expertise: Experience in Windows-based systems, such as Windows 2010 & Server 2012R2/2016R2.
  • Patching and Upgrades: Develop and maintain patching and upgrade plans.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain documentation related to system configurations, procedures, and SOPs.
  • High Availability and Disaster Recovery: Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness by implementing appropriate backup and restoration strategies.
  • Network Applications: Install, configure, and troubleshoot the local and wide area network applications, including software development tools and operating systems.
  • Backup and Restore: Management, maintenance, and support all Backup & Restore platforms hardware and software.
Requirements
  • Active Secret Clearance: An Active Secret Clearance is required.
  • Location: Must be based able to commute to the on-site location.
  • Experience: 7 or more years of experience in the following:
    • Dell Intel-based servers
    • HP Intel-based servers
    • MS domain infrastructure: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, Network Policy Server
    • MS Windows 10
    • McAfee Antivirus
    • Symantec Endpoint Protection
    • Veritas NetBackup 8.12
Compensation

Annual Base Pay Minimum for this Position: $66,900.00

Annual Base Pay Maximum for this Position: $100,000.00
