Job Summary:

As a Cafeteria and Playground Monitor for Norwalk Public Schools, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our students during recess and lunchtime. This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our students and contribute to a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise students during recess and lunchtime, maintaining a safe and respectful environment
• Provide focused and guided supervision to ensure students' needs are met
• Use effective communication and interpersonal skills to address student concerns and promote positive relationships
• Assist with restroom breaks, cafeteria needs, and other tasks as directed
• Maintain confidentiality and respect for students' personal information

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with others and adapt to changing situations
