Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physical Therapy Technician to join our team at Therapy Partners Group. As a Physical Therapy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our physical therapists in delivering high-quality treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Maintenance
    • Prepare treatment rooms for patients by following established protocols and procedures.
    • Ensure a clean and safe working environment by maintaining a high level of organization and adhering to infection control guidelines.
  • Patient Care and Support
    • Assist patients with physical therapy treatment, including applying ice or heat packs, helping patients onto exercise equipment, and monitoring motion.
    • Provide information and answer questions to patients in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative and Support Tasks
    • Record and maintain accurate patient notes and records.
    • Assist with laundry and linen management to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Equipment and Supply Management
    • Ensure the proper functioning of physical therapy equipment by completing routine maintenance tasks.
    • Manage and maintain a sufficient supply of equipment and materials.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with physical therapists, patients, and other staff members to ensure seamless care and support.
    • Collaborate with the team to achieve shared goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology or a related field.
    • Prior experience in customer service or a related field.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
    • Organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
Working Conditions

This role requires prolonged standing, bending, and stretching. The ability to lift and move equipment and supplies is also necessary. A normal range of hearing and vision is required to perform the duties of this position.
