VillageMD is seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to join our established primary care practices in the Northwestern Houston area, including Tomball and Cypress, Texas.
We are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and are looking for a provider who shares our passion for excellence and enthusiasm to drive positive change.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care as an Advanced Practice Provider, working autonomously and without physician supervision.
- Conduct comprehensive health histories and physical assessments of adult patients, addressing acute, chronic, and potential health problems.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans, collaborating with other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and best practices, ensuring the highest level of care for patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, using strong oral and written skills.
- Graduate of an accredited advanced practice program and certified as a Physician Assistant.
- At least two years of outpatient clinical experience as an Advanced Practice Provider, with a proven ability to work independently.
- Current, unrestricted license to practice in the state and active DEA registration.
- Active Medicare/Medicaid enrollment and certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Proficient in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, preferably Athena.
