Job Summary

Day Kimball Hospital is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in the CT Department. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating complex imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Position patients to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures
  • Administer contrast media and other medications as required
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and images
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
Requirements
  • ARRT certification in CT
  • 2 years of experience in radiologic technology
  • Current BLS certification
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year of experience in CT scanning
  • IV insertion experience
  • Contrast injection training

Day Kimball Hospital is a 125-bed community hospital serving the healthcare needs of northeastern Connecticut. Our CT Department is equipped with state-of-the-art imaging equipment, including a Siemens 64 Slice Definition scanner.
