Position Overview:

The Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of residential properties, focusing on the upkeep of apartment units, buildings, and surrounding grounds. This position involves a variety of tasks including but not limited to: repairing flooring, drywall, and appliances; troubleshooting and fixing plumbing, electrical, safety, and HVAC systems; painting both interior and exterior surfaces; and performing general cleaning duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement: Uphold the values and expectations of the property owner in daily operations to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Maintenance Management: Follow the established maintenance program to maintain the property in optimal condition. Adhere to preventative maintenance protocols as outlined in the Maintenance Manual.
  • On-call Support: Provide after-hours maintenance services as required, ensuring prompt response to emergencies.
  • Unit Preparation: Conduct inspections and necessary repairs on vacant units to ensure they are ready for new residents. Assist with painting and appliance changes as needed.
  • Equipment Oversight: Maintain and repair all equipment owned by the property, ensuring proper storage and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Professional Conduct: Enforce community rules and regulations fairly and consistently, while adhering to all Fair Housing Laws.

Compensation:
$20 / Hour

Additional Information:
The Maintenance Technician is expected to maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with residents, prospective tenants, clients, vendors, and guests, representing the standards of FPI Management, Inc. This role requires a commitment to safety protocols and company policies to meet the operational goals of the property.
