Job Description

The Sacramento County Sheriff's Department is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sheriff's Records Specialist to join our team. This position requires strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

As a Senior Sheriff's Records Specialist, you will be responsible for performing complex clerical support tasks, including but not limited to, criminal records, warrants, civil process, and inmate booking and processing. You will also provide lead duties, including training and assigning work to lower-level employees, and reviewing legal and law enforcement documents for correctness, completeness and conformance with requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in law enforcement and/or court procedures, with experience in records management, typing, and data entry. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
