POSITION SUMMARY: As a Psychiatric Nursing Aide, your primary responsibility will be to carry out routine tasks within the scope of your training while providing care for patients in a hospital setting under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. You will play a vital role in implementing the care plans for assigned patients, delivering direct support, anticipating their needs, and addressing their requests. Your duties will include observing, documenting, and communicating any significant symptoms, reactions, and progress of the patients to the Registered Nurse. Additionally, you will assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), monitor and record vital signs, and manage dietary trays.
REQUIREMENTS:
• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory
• Preferably one year of experience in behavioral health or patient care
