Key Responsibilities:
- Assist lawyers in preparing for meetings, court hearings, and trials by conducting thorough research, organizing documents, and coordinating with medical professionals.
- Manage cases from inception to resolution, including discovery, client communications, and coordination with medical professionals to ensure timely and effective case resolution.
- Organize, manage, and produce documents, ensuring all are scanned and filed electronically for future reference, and maintain accurate and up-to-date case files.
- Research legal precedents, investigate facts, and prepare legal documents to assist attorneys in building strong cases.
- Manage attorney calendars, scheduling meetings, and ensuring all deadlines are met to maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency.
Requirements:
- 3-4 years of experience as a paralegal is required, with a strong background in personal injury law and litigation support.
- Experience with workers' compensation cases is a significant advantage, as is a strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive client information.
