The RN Weekend Supervisor will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents. This position requires a skilled and compassionate nurse who can lead and supervise a team of caregivers to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular rounds to assess resident condition and implement care plans as directed.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and ensure accurate narcotic reconciliation.
  • Collaborate with physicians to record visits and ensure accurate clinical records.
  • Identify and address significant changes in resident condition and take necessary action per facility policies.
  • Supervise and monitor aides to ensure quality care is provided.
  • Initiate and complete incident and accident reports as needed.
  • Discharge residents per facility policy and ensure a smooth transition.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas in good standing.
  • Experience working in a skilled nursing facility is preferred.
