Overview

We are seeking a Customer Care Specialist I on behalf of Acuity International, a provider of process and technology-driven critical services to government and commercial sectors globally.

The Customer Care Specialist I at Acuity International is tasked with delivering administrative assistance and outstanding customer service to all Acuity personnel involved in medical examination or drug screening programs within the Occupational Health Services division. This position serves as a communication bridge between examinees and network providers to arrange employment-related assessments and collaborates daily with other Acuity team members and provider network associates. Flexibility in working hours, including weekends, may be required. Hybrid work arrangements may be available based on contract stipulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with examinees and network providers to arrange employment-related assessments.
  • Adhere to various protocols specific to each program, following established processes and policies.
  • Utilize supporting software to manage examinations, including scheduling appointments, tracking progress, and documenting final statuses for billing and client delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with our medical team, examinees, employers, and contracted facilities to ensure the examination process is completed effectively.
  • Reach out to examinees and facilities to schedule requested assessments.
  • Contact providers regarding any missing or incomplete examination results.
  • File, scan, and retrieve examination results, including laboratory, medical, and final determinations.
  • Consistently deliver professional and courteous customer service.
  • Manage inbound and outbound communications via phone calls, faxes, emails, and mail.
  • Address routine customer inquiries and assess the need for call escalation; redirect calls to the appropriate manager as necessary.
  • Meet or exceed established standards consistently for quality, customer service, productivity, and service level guidelines.
  • Handle all medical and drug screening results in compliance with HIPAA standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and database software, with the ability to navigate multiple platforms.
  • Experience in customer service
  • Able to work a flexible schedule to meet work demands.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Dependability
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
Benefits & Compensation

Annual/Hourly Salary begins at $16.20.
