Sleep Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Sleep Technologist to join our team at Northwest Texas Healthcare System. As a Sleep Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders, including in-center and home sleep apnea testing, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, and comprehensive patient care.
Responsibilities- Conduct sleep disorder studies accurately and safely as ordered by physicians.
- Operate all equipment utilized for sleep disorder diagnosis and treatment.
- Determine testing parameters and procedures with aid of a physician.
- Score sleep/wake stages.
- Complete and verify records of all procedures performed.
- Oversee unusual and difficult procedures.
- Comply with Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) standards.
- Successful completion of an accredited education program leading to an associate degree with an emphasis on polysomnography, or successful completion of a polysomnography program of no less than one year duration, associated with a state license and/or must have at least 3 years' experience as a Polysomnography Tech.
- Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or equivalent.
