Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Sleep Technologist to join our team at Northwest Texas Healthcare System, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services. As a Sleep Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders, including in-center and home sleep apnea testing, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, and comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate plans of care using assessment and clinical skills
  • Perform sleep disorder studies accurately and safely as ordered by physicians
  • Operate all equipment utilized for sleep disorder diagnosis and treatment
  • Score sleep/wake stages and complete and verify records of all procedures performed
  • Oversee unusual and difficult procedures and comply with Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) standards
Requirements
  • Successful completion of an accredited education program leading to an associate degree with an emphasis on polysomnography or successful completion of a polysomnography program of no less than one year duration associated with a state license
  • Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or equivalent
  • At least 3 years' experience as a Polysomnography Tech
