Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hotel maintenance is preferred.
- Basic communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of carpentry, electrical, and plumbing fundamentals is required.
- A strong mechanical background with at least 2-3 years of hands-on maintenance experience.
- A valid Florida Driver License is preferred.
- Ability to lift, bend, and stoop, with the capacity to handle weights up to 75 lbs repetitively.
- Availability for all shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance and daily repairs across various areas including Meeting Rooms, Guest Rooms, Food & Beverage Outlets, Public Spaces, and Back of House.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues in electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems, along with basic carpentry, painting, flooring, and ceiling work.
- Conduct ongoing preventive maintenance programs for guest rooms.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned.
