Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Southern Specialty Physicians. As a Medical Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support in a dynamic medical setting.

About the Role
  • Obtain and record patient medical histories, vitals, test results, and other information for medical records while maintaining strict confidentiality.
  • Coordinate daily administrative activities, including appointment scheduling, patient check-in and check-out, phlebotomy skills, and patient medical record maintenance.
  • Prepare treatment rooms for clinical providers.
  • Assist physician in documenting patient encounters.
  • Deliver compassionate support, attention, and assistance to patients and families.
Requirements
  • One to two years of experience in a medical setting.
  • An unencumbered LPN license in the state of Alabama.
  • BLS certification (preferred).
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical health care record systems.
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000, depending on experience.
