Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Practice: The successful candidate will engage in active clinical practice in both outpatient and inpatient settings, providing exceptional care to adult patients with infectious diseases.
  • Education and Training: The incumbent will participate in the advancement and education of medical students, residents, and fellows, maintaining flexibility in division clinical duty scheduling.
  • Research and Quality Improvement: The candidate will contribute to academic research in the field of Infectious Diseases and participate in quality improvement activities, including hospital and/or university committee work.
  • Leadership and Administration: The successful candidate will provide leadership for academic projects in education, quality, and safety or division/departmental administration.
Qualifications
  • Awarded degree of M.D. or D.O. and completed infectious diseases fellowship from an ABIM recognized fellowship program.
  • Valid American Board Certification in Internal Medicine.
  • Valid and unrestricted Florida Medical License or eligible to apply.
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible for Infectious Diseases.
