As a key member of our Pulmonary Critical Care and Sleep Medicine Division, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, leading clinical research initiatives, and contributing to the academic and operational missions of our department.
Key Responsibilities- Direct the care of critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit, utilizing your expertise in pulmonary support and life support systems.
- Formulate treatment plans, routine diagnostic and follow-up studies, and therapeutic measures to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement post-discharge care plans in accordance with written practice protocols.
- Order appropriate laboratory tests and provide supervision of medical services to ensure quality and safety of patient care.
- Actively participate in quality assurance programs and peer review activities to drive continuous improvement.
- Physician with MD or DO degree and board certification in Pulmonary Critical Care and Sleep Medicine.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
