Physical Therapist Contract/Travel Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Providence Saint Jude Medical Center. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our medical fitness programs.
Responsibilities- Participate in bi-monthly Wellness meetings to discuss program development and implementation
- Teach medical fitness classes to patients and staff
- Review and revise medical fitness curriculum to ensure it meets the needs of our patients
- Perform client fitness evaluations to assess patient progress and develop personalized exercise plans
- Offer personal training to medical fitness clients as needed
- Monitor and report fitness activity, including class use and need, to the program coordinator
- Minimum BS in Exercise Science or related field (Masters level preferred)
- Certified Personal Trainer (ACE, AFAA, NSCA or NASM)
- Specialty certification in one or more of the following areas of exercise science: Exercise Physiologist, Medical Fitness Specialist, Corrective Exercise Specialist, Strength & Conditioning Specialist
- 2 years of experience in a related field
This is a contract/travel position with a guaranteed minimum of 20 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with a geriatric population and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
