Position Overview

As a Construction Project Manager, you will be stationed in the Midwest and will oversee field operations and onsite management of design-build construction initiatives. Your primary focus will be on quality assurance for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems, as well as the construction, startup, and testing phases of complex projects nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with preconstruction, design, engineering, procurement, operations, safety, quality, and all other project site management team members to ensure adequate project resources are consistently available.
  • Supervise construction personnel and subcontractors to achieve project goals within budgetary and scheduling constraints.
  • Maintain a strong safety record and demonstrate a commitment to safety and quality standards.
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic and a willingness to travel or relocate as necessary for the job.
  • Be creative and results-driven with a sense of urgency in project execution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent trade experience with a progression to management roles.
  • 5-10 years of experience in managing highly technical commercial or industrial construction projects valued at over $50 million, preferably with design-build experience.
  • Proven ability to lead construction teams and subcontractors to meet project timelines and budgets.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of construction.
  • Willingness to travel or relocate to job sites as required.
  • Ability to navigate job sites, including climbing ladders and multi-floor scaffolding.
  • Capability to lift objects weighing at least 60 pounds.
