Our expertise lies in masonry and concrete restoration, alongside preventative waterproofing solutions for various structures. We are currently seeking a Sales Project Manager for our Springfield branch.

Key Responsibilities of the Sales Project Manager

As an integral part of our branch operations, your role will encompass:

  • Supporting the branch's marketing initiatives and striving to meet sales objectives.
  • Conducting takeoffs from blueprints and existing structures, formulating estimates, drafting client proposals, managing contracts, and developing project timelines and budgets.
  • Overseeing project execution to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Facilitating customer billing processes and assisting with collections as necessary.
  • Engaging in ongoing business development with clients, including architects, owners, engineers, and general contractors.
  • Identifying opportunities to promote Western's services in concrete and masonry restoration, as well as waterproofing.
  • Implementing marketing strategies to educate both new and existing clients about our offerings.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with current and prospective clients to expand our customer base.
  • Providing comprehensive customer support throughout all project phases and maintaining communication post-completion.
  • Accurately estimating project costs to enhance profitability.
  • Preparing client proposals and following up to secure agreements.
  • Monitoring project deployment to ensure timely and quality delivery.
  • Collaborating with Superintendents and Foremen to meet client requirements and deadlines.
  • Documenting and communicating any project changes to relevant parties.
  • Maintaining organized job files and ensuring completeness.
  • Assisting in the training and development of sales and field staff to elevate the quality of our team.
  • Ensuring timely billing and supporting collection efforts as needed.
  • Staying updated with industry knowledge through seminars and training programs.
  • Enhancing operational effectiveness by fostering internal and external relationships.
  • Participating in industry organizations to expand networking opportunities and develop new business prospects.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction, with a preference for concrete and masonry restoration.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or a related field is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings, blueprints, and specifications is essential for success.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong sales acumen alongside project management skills, with a greater emphasis on sales.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the construction industry is beneficial.
