POSITION SUMMARY: The Quality Manager is accountable for executing policies and procedures that ensure compliance with production quality benchmarks. This role involves monitoring and evaluating processes, materials, and product testing against set standards while conducting ongoing assessments of quality discrepancies and variances. The position also focuses on optimizing procedures to meet both current and emerging regulatory demands.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Guarantees high-quality products and processes by establishing and upholding quality benchmarks and conducting thorough testing of materials and products.
- Implements best practices and process enhancements to improve product quality.
- Leads the translation of strategic goals into actionable plans for organizational events and KAIZEN team initiatives.
- Oversees daily continuous improvement efforts and ensures the consistent application of lean methodologies across all departments.
- Ensures adherence to industry regulations and standards, including ISO compliance.
- Coordinates both internal and external quality system audits.
- Analyzes, resolves, and reports on quality-related issues, including customer feedback, product returns, procurement discrepancies, delayed shipments, concession requests, and rework requirements.
- Collaborates effectively with customers, suppliers, team members, and support functions in a cooperative environment, determining the appropriate tools and methods for improvement activities to meet business goals.
- Manages departmental budgets in alignment with established policies and standards.
- Represents the organization at various internal and external functions as required.
- Tracks, records, and maintains quality assurance metrics.
- Demonstrates mutual respect and trust towards colleagues, peers, and clients.
- Exhibits awareness of social responsibilities within the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies, along with the ability to adapt and implement new processes in a dynamic environment.
- Experience with ISO and QS systems, including related audits.
- Strong administrative, management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:

- Potential exposure to fumes or airborne particles.
- Possible exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
- Potential exposure to high temperatures.
- Exposure to moderate noise levels.
