We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our interdisciplinary team at Soar Autism Center. As an SLP, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional care to children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children with ASD
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to improve the communication abilities of children aged 2-6, utilizing evidence-based methodologies and therapeutic techniques
  • Collaborating closely with our multidisciplinary team, including behavior analysts, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive care
  • Providing education, resources, and support to families to foster their child's speech and language development
  • Regularly evaluating and documenting the progress of each child, adjusting interventions as needed to maximize effectiveness

Qualifications include a Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program, a license to practice speech pathology in the state of your chosen center, and a desire to be part of an organization advancing the standard of autism therapy. Preference is given to SLPs with 3+ years of experience, but we are also open to new SLPs starting their career. Prior experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) or interest in learning from our clinical teams is a plus.
