Soar Autism Center is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our interdisciplinary team in Littleton, Colorado.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to work with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children with ASD
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication abilities in children aged 2-6
  • Collaborate with our team, including behavior analysts, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to ensure seamless care
  • Engage families in the treatment process through education, resources, and support to foster their child's speech and language development
  • Regularly evaluate and document progress, adjusting interventions as needed to maximize effectiveness
Qualifications:
  • Masters Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program
  • License to practice speech pathology in the state of Colorado
  • 3+ years of experience in speech therapy, with a preference for those with experience working with children with ASD
  • Prior experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) or interest in learning from our clinical teams
  • Ability to connect and engage with young children and their families
