About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Partner to join our team at Petfolk. As a Business Partner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our pet care centers, driving key metrics, and delivering gold standard medicine in partnership with our Lead or Partner Veterinarians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Interactions: Act as the point of contact for all client concerns, manage the flow of clients, and guarantee client satisfaction and education.
  • Personnel/Human Resources: Responsible for interviewing, retention, and scheduling of support staff, creating a functional support staff schedule, supervising support staff personnel, and ensuring proper training for their position.
  • Mediates all personnel problems, maintains employee motivation, and structures continuing education for support staff personnel.
  • Operations: Assists with the implementation of standard operating procedures and hospital protocols to maximize productivity and patient safety.
  • Accounting/Financials: Audits hospital personnel performance, prepares biweekly payroll, reviews established key performance indicators, and ensures the ongoing growth of the pet care center.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to manage KPIs and change behavior to drive results.
  • Knowledge of general accounting terms and practices.
  • Knowledge of principles of inventory management.
  • Excellent in conflict management.
  • Ability to work independently and accept direction on given assignments.
