Job Summary

Catholic Health Service is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team in providing high-quality inpatient acute care services. As a vital member of our team, you will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective plans of care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide inpatient services to cardiac, orthopedic, neurologic, vascular, pulmonary, and medical-surgical patients
  • Educate patients and family members on speech and language disorders
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement plans of care
  • Stay up-to-date with hospital, Joint Commission, state, and federal guidelines
Requirements
  • MBS (Modified Barium Swallow) certification required
  • NYS SLP license and registration
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • 1-2 years of experience in a hospital setting preferred
